OBJECTIVES OF THE LIBRARY

The objectives of the library support the vision and mission statement of the college to with:

1. Support the instructional program of the college

2. Assist and cooperate with faculty members in their instructional and research programs;

3. Provide the physical facilities and equipment that will make possible the most effective use of the library resources;

4. Provide an avenue for the students to develop their interest and awareness of different cultures and traditions for value formation: and

5. Organize effective library collection for easy accessibility of the users.

INTRODUCTION

Library is a depository of information. It is a place for study and research that provides information to satisfy the intellectual curiosity and understanding of issues and events. It helps develop and professionalize individuals.

The library serves as the heart of institutions of learning. It is an essential source of intellectual advancement for strengthening formal education. In line with the goal of the institution, it endeavored to meet the needs of all its patrons by providing an adequate, well-selected, and well-organized collection supporting the curricular programs.

At present the technical collections in terms of reference textbooks, e-materials, training manuals, periodicals, and online databases of the library in Aeronautical and other related courses can supplement the needed information of the students. These collections respond to their needs in preparation of acquiring their technical and professional licenses.
